We can either place a needle where it hurts and get that muscle to release. Or if you are in extreme, acute pain, the wonder of acupuncture is that you can needle all kinds of other places, seemingly not related to the injured area and get pain relief and improved movement.See the pictures of the gentleman I saw with a frozen shoulder. At no point during this treatment did I touch or needle his shoulder! He was in extreme pain when he came in, and left with more mobility and less pain thanhe thought possible.I may use kinesiology testing to hone right in on the muscles involved with your injury, which makes the treatment very specific, we can also look for nutritional support to help your body heal.
