Kinesiology

What is Kinesiology?

Kinesiology uses a simple muscle test to locate imbalances with in the body. With this information we can prevent onset of symptoms and can get to the root of health problems you may be experiencing today.

Via the muscle test a dialogue is opened with your body and we can begin to detect where imbalances in the body originate.

What is a muscle test?

Light pressure is applied to a muscle or depending on what is being treated, sometimes several.  In health, it should hold strong.  If the muscle cannot hold strong, it indicates that something mental, chemical, structural and electrical is relevant within that muscle system.

We can then search for strengthening nutrition and use lymphatic techniques that improve nerve and lymphatic supply to help restore muscle strength.   This in turn should impact whatever health issue is being addressed.

I use kinesiology for…

  • Allergy testing

  • Checking the immune system for active infections

  • Balancing the digestive system and regulating the bowel

  • Checking the endocrine system and helping to restore balance in female hormonal health

  • Checking the strength of muscles and pinpointing which muscles may be involved in injury

  • Within each balance we can check which supplements/nutrition will help strengthen your body and restore good health

History of Kinesiology

A Chiropractor called Dr Goodheart began to explore what techniques would enhance his chiropractic results.  He turned to Chinese Medicine, Osteopathy and Nutritional Therapy and found that structural problems he was treating could often be resolved without using radical chiropractic techniques.
